Introducing TakeControl: Elevate Your Accounting Game, Featuring Accounting Experts, Exciting FloQast News, Guy Fieri, and More
In May 2019, over 100 finance and accounting professionals gathered in the heart of San Francisco for the first-ever TakeControl, an event dedicated to helping FloQast users get the most out of the product and share tips and tricks with each other.
Today, we’re here to talk about something much grander in scale. This September 14 and 15, FloQast is hosting TakeControl: Elevate Your Accounting Game, bringing together accounting and finance experts, FloQast thought leaders, partners, and customers alike for two days of professional development, industry and technology trends, and best practices.
Unlike that day some 27 long, hard months ago, this event is open to the public, completely virtual, free, and will be packed with exciting FloQast product news, expert advice, and, for the first time ever, interactive entertainment that even non-accountants are clambering to register for.
Highlights of the event will include:
- Keynotes by FloQast leaders including co-founder and CEO Mike Whitmire and co-founder and Chief Product Officer Chris Sluty, as well as exciting new functionalities planned for the FloQast product
- Panel discussions with Coupa, Matterport, industry analysts, and others
- Breakout sessions focusing on best practices from FloQast customers and solution experts
- Virtual expo hall featuring event sponsors, Oracle NetSuite, Tipalti, CrossCountry Consulting and Becker, plus a virtual genius bar
In addition to a rad soundtrack curated by yours truly (which you can find here), what truly sets this TakeControl apart from the others is the entertainment planned for this year’s festivities. Attendees will be treated to an interactive cooking class with the mayor of Flavortown, Guy Fieri (you read that correctly), a set from the hilariously smooth Saxsquatch (live from his lair in parts unknown), and an awards ceremony provided over by industry legend Pete “Sugar Bear” Olinto.
