FloQast Takes Home Prize for Best Cloud HR, Payroll, or ERP Solution
The International Cloud Computing Awards Program released its list of winners for 2018-19 today, and the FloQast team is incredibly excited to report we took home the award for Best Cloud HR, Payroll, or ERP Solution!
Competing against the likes of Deloitte, BambooHR, and ADP, the award is FloQast’s first Cloud Award and our second prize of 2019.
“The FloQast team is tremendously excited to be recognized as a leading cloud technology company,” said Co-founder and CEO Mike Whitmire. “Our goal from day one was to build a product that makes finance and accounting teams’ lives easier because we — as accountants — have experienced their pain before. We’re very excited about the product we’ve built, and we work diligently to deliver new solutions for age-old problems.”
Officially launched in 2011, the International Cloud Computing Awards Program vetted hundreds of applications before settling on a shortlist of 169 companies up for 19 awards. Other finalists for major awards include Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite, Avalara, and Pushpay, among many others. The announcement comes just a few months after the introduction of FloQast Flux Analysis, which offers accounting teams a new, more efficient way of conducting fluctuation analysis on a consistent basis.
“As the cloud continues to evolve, the team has been thrilled to scrutinize fresh players still emerging alongside established names, not only from the US but also from far beyond,” said Cloud Awards organizer Larry Johnson in a statement. “It was an almost impossible task to decide which organizations were most worthy of an award, and to be recognized as a category winner demonstrates our belief in their commitment to excellence and innovation while leveraging cloud technologies.”
In January, Built In LA named FloQast as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in Los Angeles, slotting in at number 11.
